The Internal Medicine Department at Narayan Hospital & Research Institute manages different diseases diagnoses, prevention, and non-surgical treatment. It is the initial point of contact for every patient visiting our facility. The department is headed by a general physician, who conducts the physical examination and recommends vital testing and diagnostic procedures to the patients. The results of these tests, as well as the results of the general physical investigation and indications, are then matched to arrive at a final diagnosis. Depending on the definitive diagnosis, the patient is either given the necessary therapy by the general physician, usually medicine, or sent to a speciality department for further treatment. Further, our internal medicine department maintains a high level of attention when dealing with common illnesses and tropical diseases to ensure our patients get the complete care and help they require.
